By questioning the cultural behaviour of each having an own single plate, giant plates are an invitation to celebrate and share dinner. To initiate relations between people, food and objects is essential for the pieces.

The plates are made of one mighty naturally fallen oak once standing close to my atelier. Each plate is made of a single piece of wood. The wood is treated without using any machines, handcarved from start to finish. Linsed oil is added for the finishing touch.
